Lunch Program
This year we are again partnering with Nourish Food Solutions for our lunch program. Nourish specializes in health-ful, scratch-made meals for schools.
Holly Cunningham, owner and founder of Nourish Food Solutions, is the former owner of Hollyberry Baking & Catering -- voted best caterer in St. Louis for 8 years in a row. Merry Madi, a lifelong foodie, has served as the Director of Catering at Nourish for more than 10 years now. Her background in education is a great fit for her role.
Holly and Merry's food service philosophy emphasizes excellent menus that are fresh and kid-friendly. We are excited for them to bring their commitment and passion for healthy eating to Fulton School.
All meals on the menu are nut-free. Meals will not include pork but will include sides like fresh cut fruit and house-made salads. In order to offer healthier, more wholesome choices, we had to make some changes to our program. We will only offer one entree per day, and there will be one size (a good size) and one cost -- $7.25 per lunch. Nourish has operated this way in the other schools they serve and assure us that the program works well.
Sign-ups for the Hot Lunch Program are by the month. You can choose which days out of the month you'd like to order, but orders must be placed prior to the start of the month. Charges will be billed to your FACTS account.
Note: If a lunch is ordered on a day when a student has an off-campus field trip, a standard bag lunch will be provided (turkey sandwich, chips, and a cookie).
