A Book Give-and-Take Event

Our Fulton School Upper Elementary students are hosting a Spring Book Swap!

Collection Days: March 2 to 11
Shopping Day: Thursday, March 12

Parents and students, this is a great time to “spring clean” books from your home libraries.

We will be collecting your gently used books (of all genres and age groups) from March 2 to 11. You’ll find donation bins at the Front Door.

Shopping day will be Thursday, March 12 – Pancakes and Paperbacks! It’s Late-Start Thursday, so parents can come browse the book collection with their children before the start of school, between 8:00 and 9:00 am. Plus, it’s Pancake Breakfast so be sure to build in enough time to enjoy breakfast by the Middle Schoolers in the Dining Room. Note: Students will also have the opportunity during the day to “shop” with their teachers.

Any leftover books will be boxed up by the Upper Elementary students and donated to a local nonprofit. This Spring Book Swap is a wonderful community event that is not only a great community service opportunity for the Upper Elementary students, but it promotes reading. Everyone can head into our two-week Spring Break with new books! Plus, with the elimination of the Scholastic Book Fair on campus this year, we are excited that the Spring Book Swap supports recycling and thriftiness.
