Tuition
As you would expect, a Fulton School education is a significant financial investment for a family. But intimate class settings where teachers get to know their students well, unique facilities and programs that set us apart from your average school, and compassionate, experienced teachers are not inexpensive.
Families who understand that education is the best gift they can give their child are willing to seek creative ways to afford an independent school education. For the 2026-27 school year, tuition has been set at:
We offer a variety of tuition payment schedules. Varying surcharges apply. Enrollment deposits are required.
Tuition Assistance
The Fulton School seeks to enroll a diverse and talented student body which includes socio-economic diversity. For that reason the school is committed to a strong Tuition Assistance program. Tuition assistance is only available to full-time students (toddlers and half-day preschoolers are not eligible). The amount of tuition assistance a family is eligible to receive is determined independently through a third-party equitable financial aid service. Find out more details about Tuition Assistance.
Tuition, Fees and Other Expenses
The level of tuition and fees, as well as payment and collection policies, are established by the Board of Trustees and administered by the Business Office. We try to keep tuition as low as possible while sustaining a sound business.
Financial Hardship
After the Enrollment Agreement is signed, parents should contact the TFS Business Office if a serious financial hardship or unexpected setback makes it difficult to follow the agreed-upon payment schedule. The school may consider a written request from the parents and/or guardian for a temporary change to the payment plan. Any approved change applies only to that specific situation and does not change the school’s right to expect full compliance with the Enrollment Agreement in all other circumstances.
Other Services
Additional fees are charged for services and extracurricular activities that are offered outside of the regular school day. These include Extended Care, After-School Clubs, Hot Lunch Program, and Summer Camps. Charges such as these will be added to your school account.
Student Supplies
In general, all materials and supplies for students in Preschool through Grade 3 are provided by the school. Reusable textbooks are provided for students in Kindergarten through Grade 6. Students in Grades 4-5-6 are responsible for bringing supplies from home and for purchasing their own copies of literature books. Students in Grades 7-12 are responsible for purchasing and/or renting all textbooks, literature books, and school supplies.
Activity Fees
Activity fees are included in the tuition. Activity fees cover all expenses related to field trips, student photographs, yearbooks, and professional performances and presentations. These monies are not intended to pay for class parties or gifts for faculty or parent volunteers. The fees do not cover outdoor education or the optional high school domestic/international trip(s).
