Mad Science: Techno Safari - Starts January 25 **REGISTRATION CLOSEDDiscover the wonderful world of animals – above and below water! Feel the force of energy and the might of motion in exciting physics explorations. Shake up a mixture and experiment with telecommunications! There are amazing take-home projects in every class too.
- Wednesday Class Dates: Jan 25 through March 15 (8 weeks), from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the Dining Room
- Cost: $120 per student

Tennis the Menace - Starts February 21
Your kids can learn the game of tennis with instructor Clark Taylor, Director of Racquet Sports at the Shaw Park Tennis Center and Glen Echo CC. He has a wealth of experience teaching the game to elementary school students. Coach Taylor uses games and music to keep the energy high all while learning the basic strokes of tennis; volleys, forehands, backhands, and servers. No standing around in long lines, in Tennis the Menace the kids are literally moving and grooving from start to end!
- Tuesday Class Dates: Feb 21, 28; March 7, 14; April 4, 11, 18, 25 from 3:30 to 4:30 pm in the gym
- Cost: $224 per student (all equipment including balls, nets, and rackets are provided, however if a child wants to bring their own racket that's fine)

Art Club - Starts January 23 **REGISTRATION CLOSED
In Mrs. Hassan's after-school art club, students will work on a variety of projects focused on drawing and painting. We’ll throw on some smocks and give the kids the chance to get their hands dirty. They can let their imaginations run free for an hour!

- Cost: $150 per student (for 7 weeks) -- all art supplies are included

Chess Club - Starts January 13 **REGISTRATION CLOSED
Chess Club is an 8-week session with instructor Aleksey Kazakevich, who has been teaching the game of chess to elementary students for more than 15 years. This chess program is for all levels and skills. Students will receive instruction in all aspects of the game: openings, middlegame, endgame, tactics, and strategy. They will test their newly acquired skills against each other. At the end of the session, students will participate in a tournament, with an award ceremony taking place during the last class.
